Lovebug Cake Co. is located in Framingham, Massachusetts. I serve Greater Boston and MetroWest.

I will deliver to Greater Boston and MetroWest for a fee based on distance, location, and complexity (e.g. tiered cakes that require greater care). For all deliveries, a 30-minute delivery window is required. I do not offer shipping or delivery outside of these areas, but I do offer pickup in Framingham for single tier cakes by appointment.

For Signature and Classic Celebration cakes I recommend ordering at least 2-4 weeks in advance, especially to secure weekend dates. Wedding cakes should be ordered at least 3–6 months in advance to secure your date. Bespoke/tiered cake orders for all other event types should be made 6+ weeks in advance.

Orders placed with less than 7 days' notice are considered rush orders and may be subject to a Rush Order Fee of $25–$75 depending on complexity, availability, and required turnaround time. Rush orders are accepted based on availability only. I’ll do my best to accommodate your request, but due to the custom nature of my work and time required to source materials and plan designs, rush orders cannot be guaranteed.

To get started, fill out the Cake Order Request Form with your event details, design ideas, and flavor preferences. I’ll follow up with availability, a quote, and next steps, including discussing your design preferences, paying the down payment to secure your order, and e-signing the booking contract. Filling out the form does not officially book your order.

In-person consultations and tastings are available for wedding cakes only. These include a 30-45 minute meeting where we’ll chat about your wedding, vision, design ideas, and flavor preferences, plus a sampling of three cake flavors of your choice.

To schedule a wedding consultation, fill out the Cake Order Request Form and I will work with you to find a time for us to meet if I have availability on your event date. Filling out the form does not officially book your order. I recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance to secure your date.

For all other orders, I’m happy to connect by phone or email to make sure every detail is just right!

I offer a curated selection of cake and filling flavors, including specialty seasonal flavors. You can view the full list on the Menu page. All cakes are frosted with buttercream.

I only offer the flavors listed on the Menu. However, you can choose between vanilla or chocolate frosting for both the Vanilla Lovebug and Chocolate Craving cake flavors.

My kitchen handles common allergens, including wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, and nuts. While I take care to avoid cross-contact when possible, I cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and do not recommend ordering if a guest has an allergy. I do not provide gluten-free cakes at this time.

I specialize in buttercream finishes and hand-piped details like florals, ruffles, and textures. I do not make licensed character cakes but can create designs inspired by a theme or color palette.

All of my cakes are priced in simple tiers based on design complexity. You'll find a full overview on my Pricing page. Custom quotes are provided after I receive your order request form. 

Pricing includes the cost of all ingredients used in making the cake, supplies, overhead, labor, and the value of my expertise and skill. This is why more complex designs will cost more - not necessarily due to expensive ingredients, but for the time commitment involved.  

All promotional offers, including sales and discounts, are valid one time per customer during the promotional period. Sales and promotions do not apply to delivery, rush order, and processing fees. Discounts may not be applied retroactively and cannot be combined with other offers. Lovebug Cake Co. reserves the right to verify eligibility and deny repeat use of promotional pricing. 

For cakes priced at $250 or less, a non-refundable payment must be made in full at the time of booking. Orders are not confirmed until the payment is received.

For cakes over $250, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the order. Orders are not confirmed until the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event date. See the Booking Contract page for more details.

For in-person wedding cake consultations (in-person consultations are available for wedding cakes only), you can pay in person or online via emailed invoice. All other event/order types must be paid via emailed invoice. Orders are not confirmed until payment is received.

I do! I have an, allergy awareness certificate, a residential kitchen permit, food liability insurance, and a DBA in order to operate my out-of-home bakery.
